2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Creamy Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup mixed mushrooms (button, cremini, or shiitake), sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste
