- 3 cups shredded green cabbage
- 1 medium carrot, shredded
- ½ tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh minced garlic)

- ½ tbsp fresh ginger, finely minced
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 2 tbsp coconut aminos, tamari, hoisin sauce, or sesame seeds for garnish
