- 6-8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise (½ lb)
- 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp brown sugar (optional but recommended)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- Toothpicks (for securing bacon)
