🌿 Ingredients:

For the Proteins:

  • 1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • ½ lb (225g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

For the Yellow Rice:

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • ½ tsp turmeric (for vibrant color)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers (red & green for crunch)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
  • Salt to taste

For Garnish & Serving:

  • ¼ cup chopped scallions
  • Fresh lime wedges
  • Optional: avocado slices, chopped cilantro, or hot sauce
