Ingredients
Mac & Cheese:
- 8 oz pasta (rotini, shells, or macaroni)
- ½ lb bacon, diced
- 1–2 jalapeños, diced
- 3 tbsp butter
- ⅓ cup flour
- 3 cups half & half (or ½ heavy cream + ½ whole milk)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Crunchy Topping:
- ¾ cup Panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup parmesan
- 2 tbsp melted butter
