Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prep the Potatoes

  • Wash & Cut – Peel (optional) and slice potatoes into even sticks.

  • Vinegar Soak – Mix 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water in a bowl. Soak the fries for 30 minutes to 2 hours (longer soak = crispier results).

2. Rinse & Dry

  • Rinse Well – Drain and wash off excess vinegar under cold water.

  • Dry Completely – Pat dry with a towel (moisture is the enemy of crispiness!).

3. Double-Fry for Perfection

  • First Fry (Blanching)

    • Heat oil to 325°F (160°C).

    • Fry in batches for 5-6 minutes until tender but not browned.

    • Drain on paper towels and let cool for 20-30 minutes.

  • Second Fry (Crisping Up)

    • Increase oil to 375°F (190°C).

    • Fry again for 2-4 minutes until golden and super crispy.

    • Drain and season immediately with salt.

Serve & Enjoy!

Pair your extra-crispy fries with ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dip. The vinegar soak makes all the difference—try it and taste the crunch! 🍟✨
