Instructions:
- Cook the Rice:
- In a medium pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
- Stir in rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes (or as per rice package instructions). Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
- Marinate the Beef:
- In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey, and ginger.
- Add sliced beef and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour for deeper flavor).
- Cook the Beef:
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the beef in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until caramelized and cooked through.
- Assemble the Stacks:
- In bowls or a serving dish, layer:
- 1st layer: Fluffy sesame rice
- 2nd layer: Grilled teriyaki beef
- 3rd layer: Fresh avocado slices
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
