Sticky Sesame Chicken Wings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the oven rack in the upper third of the oven. Line a large baking sheet (17×12 inches) with foil and lightly oil it.
  2. Make the sauce: Mince the garlic and mash it into a paste with the salt using the flat side of a knife. Transfer to a large bowl and mix in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cayenne.
  3. Coat the wings: Add the chicken wings to the sauce, tossing until evenly coated.
  4. Roast the wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for about 35 minutes, flipping halfway, until fully cooked and sticky.
  5. Finish & serve: Transfer the wings to a serving bowl, toss with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions, and enjoy!
