Slow cooker strawberries

PREPARATION

1. Dump the cut strawberries, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a crockpot.

2 Turn the crockpot on high and cover. Let the strawberries cook for 2 hours. Stirring a few times.

3 Turn off the crockpot and let the strawberries cool.

4 Store in a mason jar, label with tape, and store in the fridge for 2 weeks. You can also freeze this to make great popsicles or smoothies!
