Pizza Grilled Cheese

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. Spread the butter mixture evenly over one side of each bread slice. Place the slices buttered side up on a sheet tray.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place one slice of bread in the skillet, buttered side down. Layer with 1 slice of mozzarella, 6 pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more pepperoni slices, and a final slice of mozzarella.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  5. Remove from the skillet and serve immediately with warm pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
