Preheat the Oven

Set to 425°F (220°C) to ensure crispy fries.

Sear the Steak

Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Add olive oil, then the sliced steak.

Season with garlic salt and black pepper, stirring to coat evenly.

Cook until browned but still juicy. Remove steak and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet (keep 1 tbsp steak juices for flavor), add bell peppers and onions.

Cook over medium heat until onions soften and peppers are slightly crisp-tender. Remove and set aside.

Layer the Fries & Toppings

Off heat, spread half the fries in the skillet.

Top with 4 cheese slices, then steak and veggies.

Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.

Bake & Melt

Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and fries are golden.
