Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fries:

    • Bake or air-fry the French fries according to package instructions until crispy. Keep warm.

  2. Sauté the Veggies:

    • In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp butter or oil over medium heat.

    • Add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook for 5-6 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.

  3. Cook the Steak:

    • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter or oil.

    • Season the thinly sliced steak with garlic salt and black pepper.

    • Cook over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

  4. Combine Steak & Veggies:

    • Return the cooked peppers and onions to the skillet with the steak. Stir to combine and heat through.

  5. Melt the Cheese:

    • Reduce heat to low and place the cheese slices over the steak mixture.

    • Let the cheese melt for 1-2 minutes, then stir gently to create a creamy cheese sauce.

  6. Assemble the Loaded Fries:

    • Spread the crispy fries on a serving platter or baking sheet.

    • Pour the Philly cheesesteak mixture over the fries.

    • Add extra cheese on top if desired and broil for 1-2 minutes for extra meltiness (optional).

  7. Serve & Enjoy:

    • Garnish with chopped parsley or hot sauce if desired.

    • Serve immediately while hot and gooey!
