- Sauté veggies: In the same skillet, add mushrooms and asparagus. Cook 4–5 minutes until tender. Stir in garlic and lemon slices; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Make the sauce: Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and lemon juice. Scrape up any browned bits and simmer 2 minutes to slightly thicken.
