- Place the butter into a skillet over medium heat on the stove.

- Whisk in the milk and heavy whipping cream. Simmer until thick.
- Add salt and pepper to taste as well as the parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
- Toss the fettuccine noodles in the sauce and serve.
