Instructions:
- Prepare the base mixture:
In a saucepan over low heat, combine the milk, cream, and sugar. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add the Nutella and keep stirring until fully melted and smooth. - Cool the mixture:
Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature. - Add alcohol & flavoring:
Once cooled, stir in the vodka (or rum) and vanilla extract (if using). Mix well to ensure a uniform consistency. - Bottle the liqueur:
Using a funnel, pour the mixture into sterilized glass bottles. Seal tightly and give them a gentle shake to blend. - Store & mature:
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld. Shake lightly before each use.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve chilled in shot glasses or over ice.
- Drizzle over ice cream, stir into coffee, or use in desserts.
Storage:
Keeps refrigerated for 2–3 weeks. Always shake well before serving.
