Prep & Preheat – Heat oven to 300°F (150°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a large lidded casserole dish.

Mix the Sauce – In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.

Layer the Beef – Place the beef tips (and onions/mushrooms, if using) in the dish. Pour the sauce over the beef, stirring gently to coat.

Bake & Forget – Cover tightly with foil or a lid—no peeking! Bake for 2.5–3 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and the gravy is thick and velvety.

Serve & Enjoy – Remove from the oven, give it a quick stir, and serve hot over your favorite starch.
