My nana made this every year but I kept forgetting to write it down. So glad I found something that comes close to hers!

Directions

  1. Prep the fruit: In a small bowl, toss the banana slices with lemon juice to prevent browning. Set aside.

  2. Cream the base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

  3. Fold in whipped cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

  4. Add fruit & nuts: Stir in the drained pineapple, chopped strawberries (or raspberries), mandarin oranges, pecans, cherries, and bananas. Mix gently to distribute evenly.

  5. Freeze: Transfer the mixture into a 9×13-inch dish or a large loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or foil.

  6. Chill until firm: Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.

  7. Serve: Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Garnish with extra cherries or nuts if desired.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with brunch favorites like quiche or croissants.

  • Serve alongside grilled meats at summer cookouts.

  • Top with whipped cream or a drizzle of honey for extra sweetness.

Enjoy this frosty, nostalgic treat just like Nana used to make!
