Mushroom Swiss Burger

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Burger Patty:
    • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then shape into patties.
    • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side (or until your preferred doneness). Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Mushroom Sauce:
    • In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add the mushrooms and sauté until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes).
    • Pour in the cream or beef broth, stirring to combine.
    • Reduce heat to low, add the Swiss cheese, and stir until melted and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Burger:
    • Lightly toast the burger buns.
    • Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty.
    • Spoon the mushroom sauce generously over the patty, then top with the other half of the bun.
  4. Serve & Enjoy!
    • Serve hot with fries, a side salad, or your favorite burger accompaniments.
