Instructions:
- Cook the Burger Patty:
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then shape into patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side (or until your preferred doneness). Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the Mushroom Sauce:
- In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes).
- Pour in the cream or beef broth, stirring to combine.
- Reduce heat to low, add the Swiss cheese, and stir until melted and creamy.
- Assemble the Burger:
- Lightly toast the burger buns.
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty.
- Spoon the mushroom sauce generously over the patty, then top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve hot with fries, a side salad, or your favorite burger accompaniments.
