Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Assemble the Dish
- Place the feta block in the center of a small baking dish.
- Drizzle olive oil over the feta.
- Scatter the olives, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes around the feta.
- Sprinkle with lemon zest, lemon juice, capers (if using), and honey.
- Season with black pepper (feta is already salty, so additional salt is usually unnecessary).
Step 3: Bake the Feta
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until the feta softens and turns slightly golden on the edges.
- For a more caramelized top, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
Step 4: Serve & Garnish
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, basil, or rosemary.
- Serve warm with crusty bread, pita chips, or crackers.
