Instructions:
- Season & Cook the Steak:
- Rub the steak with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for desired doneness).
- Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble the Tostadas:
- Spread a thin layer of refried beans (if using) on each tostada shell.
- Top with diced steak and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- Melt the Cheese:
- Place tostadas on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Add Fresh Toppings:
- Spoon on guacamole, drizzle with salsa or hot sauce, and finish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve & Enjoy!
- Best enjoyed immediately while crispy and warm.
Tip: Customize with sour cream, pico de gallo, pickled onions, or jalapeños for extra flavor!
