Instructions:

  1. Season & Cook the Steak:
    • Rub the steak with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for desired doneness).
    • Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Assemble the Tostadas:
    • Spread a thin layer of refried beans (if using) on each tostada shell.
    • Top with diced steak and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  3. Melt the Cheese:
    • Place tostadas on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  4. Add Fresh Toppings:
    • Spoon on guacamole, drizzle with salsa or hot sauce, and finish with fresh cilantro.
  5. Serve & Enjoy!
    • Best enjoyed immediately while crispy and warm.

Tip: Customize with sour cream, pico de gallo, pickled onions, or jalapeños for extra flavor!
