Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Lemon Syrup:

    • In a small saucepan, combine lemon juice and granulated sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. Make the Mascarpone Cream:

    • In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

  3. Assemble the Tiramisu:

    • Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone cream.

  4. Chill & Serve:

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best results).

    • Before serving, garnish with freshly grated lemon zest.
