5. Wipe Down the Drum and Door

Use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe inside the drum, the inside of the door, and any visible surfaces. This removes lingering residue and ensures a sparkling finish.

• Leave the door open after every wash to prevent mold and musty smells
• Use less detergent than you think — too much causes buildup
• Clean the filter (usually located at the bottom front of the machine) every couple of months
