Instructions
Step 1: Preheat Oven
✔ Preheat to 375°F (190°C). ✔ Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 2: Make the Meatloaf Mixture
✔ In a large bowl, mix ground beef, bacon, cheddar, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, salt & pepper until well combined.
Step 3: Shape & Bake
✔ Transfer mixture to loaf pan, press down lightly to shape. ✔ In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, mustard & brown sugar, spread evenly over meatloaf. ✔ Bake for 60-75 minutes, until cooked through & golden brown.
Step 4: Rest & Serve
✔ Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. ✔ Serve warm with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or crusty bread!
Tips & Variations
✔ Make it spicier – Add hot sauce or chopped jalapeños. ✔ Swap cheddar for Swiss or smoked gouda for a different twist. ✔ Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
