Instructions:
1ļøā£Ā Activate the Yeast:
- In a small bowl, mixĀ warm water,Ā yeast, andĀ sugar.
- Let it sit forĀ 5-10 minutesĀ until frothy. (This means the yeast is active!)
2ļøā£Ā Mix the Dough:
- In a large bowl, combineĀ flourĀ andĀ salt.
- Make a well in the center and pour in theĀ yeast mixtureĀ andĀ olive oil.
- Stir with a wooden spoon (or hands) until a shaggy dough forms.
3ļøā£Ā Knead the Dough:
- Transfer to a floured surface and knead forĀ 5-7 minutesĀ until smooth & elastic.
- (If sticky, add a little more flour, but donāt overdo it!)
4ļøā£Ā Let It Rise:
- Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp towel or plastic wrap.
- Let it rise in a warm place forĀ 1-2 hoursĀ (or until doubled in size).
5ļøā£Ā Shape & Bake:
- Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
- Transfer to a pizza pan or baking sheet, add toppings, and bake at 475°F (245°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy!
