Instructions

1. Prepare the Mango Cream

  • Peel and dice 3 mangoes.

  • In a blender, combine:

    • Cream cheese

    • Sweetened condensed milk

    • Evaporated milk

    • Diced mangoes

    • Lemon zest (if using)

  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Assemble the Layers

  • In a 9×13-inch dish (or similar), spread a thin layer of mango cream at the bottom.

  • Arrange a single layer of Maria cookies over the cream (break cookies to fit if needed).

  • Spread another layer of mango cream over the cookies.

  • Repeat layers, ending with a final layer of mango cream.

3. Decorate & Chill

  • Dice the remaining 1 mango and arrange it on top.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (overnight is best for softer cookies).

4. Serve

  • Slice and serve chilled.

  • Optional: Garnish with whipped cream or extra mango.
