Directions 👩‍🍳
1️⃣ Marinate the beef:
In a bowl, combine thinly sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes to tenderize and absorb the flavors.
2️⃣ Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the noodles:
Boil the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4️⃣ Sear the beef:
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
5️⃣ Cook the vegetables:
Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté onions, broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
6️⃣ Combine:
Return the beef to the skillet. Add cooked noodles and pour in the sauce. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes over medium heat until well-coated and heated through.
7️⃣ Serve:
Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
