Instructions

1. Grill the Steak:

  • Preheat the grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.

  • Grill or sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).

  • Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

2. Cook the Shrimp Skewers:

  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.

  • Thread onto skewers and grill (or pan-sear) for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.

3. Make the Mashed Potatoes:

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain well.

  • Mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  • Stir in shredded cheese and bacon bits (if using).

4. Prepare the Cheesy Broccoli:

  • Steam or boil broccoli until tender-crisp (5-7 minutes). Drain.

  • Toss with butter, shredded cheddar, salt, and pepper until the cheese melts.

5. Assemble & Serve:

  • Slice the steak and arrange on plates with shrimp skewers.

  • Serve with a scoop of mashed potatoes, cheesy broccoli, and a warm dinner roll.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and a drizzle of steak sauce or garlic butter for extra flavor.
