Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Season & Cook the Steak:

Pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until desired doneness.

Remove steak, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter with 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).

Pour in ¼ cup of reserved pasta water and stir, scraping up any browned bits.

Combine Pasta & Sauce:

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Add more pasta water if needed.

Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Add Steak & Serve:

Gently fold in the sliced steak and let it warm through for 1 minute.

Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
