Instructions

Grill the Chicken:

Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high.

Coat chicken with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill for 5–6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Make the Garlic Butter:

In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, herbs, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth.

Toast the Bread:

Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.

Place buttered-side down on a skillet over medium heat. Toast for 2–3 minutes until golden and crisp.

Assemble the Sandwiches:

Spread mayonnaise on the unbuttered side of each toasted slice.

Layer with lettuce, tomato (sprinkled with salt/pepper), chicken, and optional cheese or avocado.

Close with the second slice of bread, garlic butter side out.

Slice in half and enjoy immediately while warm and crispy!
