Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients:

Rinse and trim the green beans, then cut them into bite-sized pieces if desired.

Peel and cube the potatoes.

Dice the ham into chunks.

Chop the onion (if using).

Layer in the Slow Cooker:

Place the diced ham, green beans, potatoes, and onion into the slow cooker.

Pour in 3 cups of water.

Season with salt, pepper, and steak seasoning (if using). Stir gently to combine.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours, or until the potatoes and green beans are tender.

For extra texture, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the ham, green beans, and potatoes to the skillet.

Sauté for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and crispy.

Serve warm as a hearty one-pot meal. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Tip: If you prefer a thicker broth, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
