Prepare the Chicken:

Place chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of a slow cooker.

Make the Broth Mixture:

In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, bouillon, lemon juice, lemon zest, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

If using mushrooms, arrange them on top.

In a small bowl, whisk heavy cream and cornstarch until smooth.

Pour into the slow cooker, stirring gently to combine.

Cover and cook an additional 15-20 minutes on HIGH, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Spoon the creamy sauce over the chicken.

Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
