Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Mix the sauce: Stir in cheddar cheese soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard (if using), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Combine: Add cooked noodles to the beef mixture and mix well. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top, followed by crushed crackers or breadcrumbs.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 5-10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot! Let it cool slightly before serving.
