Method of preparation:
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Put the cambert cheese in a small oven dish. Use a knife to make shallow cracks on the surface of the cheese cross-section.
Pour honey over the cheese, then spread the thyme leaves on it.
Sprinkle olive oil over cheese, and add black pepper if desired.
Put the dish in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and liquid in the middle.
Serve cheese hot with crispy bread or salty biscuits, and enjoy the rich flavors!
Tip: You can add some roasted walnuts or dried figs for more texture and flavor.
