Activate the Yeast

In a large bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Make the Dough

Stir in melted butter, eggs, salt, and mashed banana. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.

Knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.

Shape the Rolls

Roll the dough into a 50 x 35 cm (20 x 14-inch) rectangle. Spread the filling evenly and sprinkle with walnuts (if using).

Tightly roll from the long edge and slice into 12 equal pieces.

Second Rise & Bake

Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.

Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Spread over warm rolls.
