Tomato Soup Instructions:

  1. Aromatic Base:
    • Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Sauté diced onion for 5 minutes until translucent.
    • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Building the Flavor:
    • Stir in crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, tomato paste, and basil.
    • Add thyme and sugar (if using). Mix well.
  3. Simmer and Blend:
    • Bring to a simmer and cook for 15–20 minutes.
    • Use an immersion blender to achieve a smooth texture.
