Ingredients:
For the custard:

2 cups whole milk

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup cornstarch

3 large egg yolks

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the layers:

2 cups fresh raspberries

1 cup chocolate cake or ladyfingers (crumbled or broken into pieces)

1/2 cup raspberry jam or compote

1/4 cup dark chocolate, roughly chopped (for garnish)

Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
