Ingredients
- ¾ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp polenta or finely ground cornmeal
- 2 tsp gluten-free baking powder
- 2 tsp coarse sea salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- ¾ cup soy milk
- 2½ cups brown/yellow onions, finely chopped (about 3 medium onions)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- ¼ cup oil (for frying, extra virgin or grapeseed oil works well)
- Sweet chili sauce or any preferred dipping sauce
