Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lb ribeye or sirloin steak

  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme

For the French Fries:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Salt to taste

Optional Condiments:

  • Dijon mustard

  • Garlic aioli

  • Ketchup

To Serve:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Cold beer (optional, for pairing)
