- Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large roasting pan, combine the pretzel sticks, Rice Chex, Cheerios, salted peanuts, and Cheese Nips. Set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt the butter and add Worcestershire sauce, bacon grease (if using), Tabasco sauce, seasoning salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a slow boil, then remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes.
- Coat the Mix:
Pour half of the sauce over the dry mixture in the roasting pan. Toss and stir thoroughly. Pour the remaining sauce and toss again until everything is evenly coated. Make sure there’s no liquid pooling at the bottom of the pan.
- Bake:
Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread the mixture evenly in the roasting pan and bake uncovered on the middle rack for 1 hour. Toss and stir every 10 minutes to ensure even baking and coating.
- Cool and Store:
Once baked, spread the mixture onto a paper-covered table to cool and dry further. Once completely cooled, store in airtight containers.
