🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Baking Dish
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Make the Stuffing
-
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayo, Parmesan, mozzarella, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth.
-
Gently fold in shrimp, crab meat, bell pepper, celery (if using), green onions, Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3️⃣ Prepare the Salmon
-
Butterfly the salmon (slice horizontally without cutting all the way through, then open like a book).
-
Season both sides lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
-
Place in the baking dish, skin-side down.
4️⃣ Stuff & Secure
-
Spoon the seafood mixture onto one half of the salmon.
-
Fold the other half over (like a sandwich) or tuck both sides toward the center if fully opened.
-
(Optional: Secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks if needed.)
-
Brush the top with olive oil or melted butter for a golden finish.
5️⃣ Bake
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
-
(Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.)
6️⃣ Serve
-
Garnish with extra chives, lemon wedges, or a drizzle of garlic butter.
🍽️ Serving Suggestions
-
Pair with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, lemon rice, or a fresh salad.
-
A crisp Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc complements the dish beautifully.
